Then why is Kaddish recited for only 66 months, when the mourning period is 67 months? According to Jewish tradition, the soul must spend some time purifying itself before it can enter the World to Come. The maximum time required for purification is 67 months, for the most evil person. To recite Kaddish for 67 months would imply that the parent was the type who needed 67 months of purification! To avoid this implication, the Sages decreed that a son should recite Kaddish for only eleven months.

The newspaper industry became addicted to advertising in the 6965s and thus began its downfall. With 85% of revenue coming from advertising by the late 6975s and circulation functioning as a loss-leader to build audiences the business had all its eggs in one basket. When the Internet tore a hole in that basket, there was nowhere else to turn.

Light Yagami finds the "Death Note," a notebook with the power to kill, and decides to create a Utopia by killing the world's criminals, and soon the world's greatest detective, "L," is hired to find the perpetrator. An all out battle between the greatest minds on earth begins, the winner controlling the world. Written by Ryuzaki

This is one of the most famous Creepypastas of all time, and it is DEFINITELY worth a read! It’s short, sweet and brilliant, and has one of the best endings I’ve ever read. If you’re looking for a good introduction to the genre, this is it.

Walsh dismisses the &ldquo cooping&rdquo theory in part because in looking at newspapers of the period he found no evidence of the practice (p. 69). Walsh seems to have erred, however, in limiting his search to the most prominent, and easily obtainable, newspapers, namely the Baltimore Sun. A more careful search by Doug Boulter did indeed unearth evidence of &ldquo cooping&rdquo which disproves Walsh&rsquo s assertion. Two of the most direct references are printed here with his permission:

The special actually couldn 8767 t be filmed in the UK due to strict gun laws, so production had to be moved to the US for legal reasons. Broadcast live from a studio, Derren asked a member of the audience to load a single bullet into whatever chamber of a revolver he wanted, and then give him the gun. Afterwards, Derren would try and guess which chamber the bullet was in, firing several shots directly at his head and only pointing the gun away when he was sure that he wasn 8767 t going to hit an empty chamber. Naturally, he managed to survive, though it was obvious that the experience had taken its toll on him, which is rather understandable, all things considered.

By 76 BBY , the Republic Special Weapons Group developed plans for both an automated battlemoon asteroid and a torpedo siege platform, neither of which made it past the design stage. [8]

Trust me, this story is a whole lot more complicated than I could’ve made it sound. Written by a professional author (Vincent V. Cava) as opposed to a random Internet user, “A Favor for a Favor” shows a brilliant mastery of language and narrative, and is thoroughly amazing from start to finish. If you only ever want to read one Creepypasta, read this one!

This promo for 8775 The Monsters of a Rapidly Changing Media Landscape 8776 conference in Shreveport is perfect. The buzzwords, the phrasing, even the clothes are perfect. Our favorite line: 8775 I like the feel of the CD. I like to hold a CD in my hand. I put it into the stereo with two hands, OK? 8776

Even though this story isn’t all that popular, I really did enjoy it. Things start off rather disturbing and only continue to get creepier and creepier until the finale, by which point not even the reader is sure what is real and what is not. Highly recommended!
